Certificate for Music Educators (CME) (level 4, accredited by Trinity College London and ABRSM)

The CME is a recognised qualification on the UK Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at level 4, with 32 credits, linked to a flexible programme of learning. 

The Enact Music CME course is designed to accommodate music educators working in a variety of different settings. This includes:

  • Instrumental music teachers
  • Early years, primary and secondary school music teachers, 
  • Community musicians and workshop leaders, 
  • Professional musicians undertaking educational activities
  • Music students/graduates studying for/have completed a BMus degree and are engaged in teaching.

This course is ideal for those who want to gain a UK recognised qualification in a part-time, flexible, distance-learning setting. Intentions to enroll can be submitted at any time throughout the year.

We operate a programme of rolling assessment. This means that assessment tasks can be submitted at any time during the programme. There are no penalties for submitting material that is not accepted, and learners can resubmit as many times as they like until they meet the required standard.
