Hello
I am a Flute, Guitar, Ukulele, Piano and Arts and Crafts Teacher
My Story
Music and Arts in general have been an integral part of my life from a very young age, shaping not only my skills but also my passion for sharing the joy of music and creativity in all forms with others. I have had the privilege of exploring a variety of instruments and musical experiences, from playing in orchestras, bands, and choirs to performing in iconic venues such as the Waterfront Hall and St. Anne’s Cathedral. My classical training in flute and guitar, along with distinctions in Grade 8 flute performance, has provided a strong foundation in both technique and artistry. Additionally, my exploration of electric and acoustic guitar has broadened my musical palette, allowing me to engage with diverse styles and genres.

Throughout my journey, I’ve been fortunate to achieve recognition, such as awards for flute performance and full honours in music during secondary school. These achievements have fueled my commitment to excellence while also inspiring me to contribute creatively, including composing scores and soundtracks for productions with the British Film Institute. My university studies further refined my skills, helping me blend classical discipline with contemporary creativity.

As a teacher, my philosophy is rooted in the belief that music is a universal language, accessible to all. I am dedicated to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their unique musical voices. Each lesson is tailored to the individual needs and interests of my students, ensuring an enjoyable, engaging, and fun experience. Whether delving into classical compositions, experimenting with modern genres, or developing technical proficiency, my goal is to nurture not just musicianship but also a lifelong love for music.
