Hello
I am a Drums and Guitar Teacher
My Story
I am a multi-instrumentalist and active session musician based in Belfast, with gigging experience across the UK and Ireland. Music has been a lifelong passion, and I have immersed myself in learning and performing across a wide variety of genres, with a particular focus on rock and pop styles. My hands-on experience in live performances and diverse musical settings has shaped my understanding of music as both an art form and a means of connection.
Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance at Queen’s University Belfast, where my studies have expanded to include music technology and audio engineering. This has allowed me to gain valuable experience working in live sound environments alongside my academic pursuits. Over the past year, I have been a freelance tutor at several music schools across Belfast, teaching students of all ages and skill levels.
As an educator, I believe that music is a powerful tool for self-expression and personal growth. My teaching approach is student-centered, aiming to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment that caters to individual goals and interests. Whether a student dreams of playing their favorite songs, performing on stage, or mastering music theory, I strive to make lessons engaging, interactive, and tailored to their aspirations. I also emphasise the importance of creativity, encouraging students to explore their own musical voice while building solid technical and theoretical foundations. My ultimate goal is to instill a lifelong love for music and the confidence to pursue it in any capacity.
