My passion for music has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember. I received my first electric guitar at age 11 and have rarely gone a day without playing it since. In addition I have also picked up playing the bass guitar.

In 2014, I achieved my Grade 8 guitar performance qualification, which inspired me to pursue formal music studies at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.​

 

Since then, I have been actively performing and writing music with various local bands in the Belfast and Bangor areas. My love for music continues to evolve, and I am always seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and hone my skills, and I continue to learn other string instruments such as the banjo and Irish bouzouki in my own time.

As a teacher, I aim to inspire students to express themselves through music. I believe in fostering creativity and confidence while emphasising the joy of learning. My approach is tailored to each student, balancing technical skill development with exploration and personal growth. Whether guiding beginners or supporting advanced learners, my goal is to empower students to achieve their musical potential and enjoy the lifelong rewards of making music.
