Hello

​I'm originally from Wales. I have been playing the drums for 25 years.

 

As soon as I could play my first beat, I made a band with my brother. After that I have continually played with various bands, performing live and recording. As a result, I can turn my hand to most genres. I also have an eclectic taste in music.

I have had much success with my current band Wookalily. Recording 2 studio albums, having residencies and touring extensively.

For the past 3 years I have been teaching full time. Before that I was a care worker and classroom assistant. I love teaching music and seeing the joy and confidence it brings my students.

I tailor each lesson for each student so they can reach their personal goals. Whether that be to rock out to their favourite songs, get ready for a performance or to learn to read drum notation and sit graded exams. I have a 100% pass rate, with many students achieving merit or distinction.
