I have been playing ever since I was 8 years of age. I am currently working on my ARSM piano diploma and hope to obtain this in a few months time. I am currently taking a gap year and hoping to study music at university next year. In my gap year I intern for RiChMusicNI helping to perform with them in different concerts as well as working in special educational needs schools.

 

Outside of playing the piano I am a current choral scholar at Belfast cathedral and sing in the New Irish Senior Youth choir, Belfast Philharmonic choir, Cadenza Choir as well as conducting my own choir the Down Community Youth Choir. This is a choir that has performed on the BBC last year helping to raise £1000 for local businesses that have been destroyed by the local floods. The choir joins together young people from all across Northern Ireland to sing together. At the end of this year, we will also perform with Downshire Brass Band, one of the UK's top brass bands, at their annual carol service. I also play bass trombone in the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra and am working on achieving my grade 8. I have also achieved my grade 8 (ABRSM) in music theory.
